Shanghai SML Center Phase II

This project is the second phase of the large-scale commercial complex, SML Center, located in Shanghai’s Dapuqiao district. Situated at the intersection of Ruijin Second Road and Taikang Road, it is a commercial development built above a transit hub where two subway lines intersect.

The design concept is “A Dialogue Between Fashion and Culture.” It aims to create a brand-new urban cultural and lifestyle landmark by integrating the trendy, modern elements of a commercial shopping center with the unique cultural atmosphere of the adjacent Tianzifang art district.

The design not only fulfills the functional requirements of a modern shopping mall but also serves as an extension and elevation of the artistic and cultural essence of Tianzifang. It introduces innovative planning for dining and retail spaces, offering consumers a fresh and distinctive shopping and leisure experience.
